From the Designer

It’s amazing how many wonderful things you can create with different combinations of shapes and colors. I always aim to design play experiences by taking inspiration from the way kids play naturally. When designing the puzzles in Highlights Shapes, I was inspired by the objects kids create simply by moving cut pieces of colored paper on a table! But I wanted the kids to discover the shapes and puzzles by exploring so I created three different scenarios; an ancient jungle, magical underwater and mysterious space. The game appeals to a child’s instinctive desire to explore as they enter these new worlds and are challenged to solve the puzzles within by shifting colored shapes!
